Orange County Carls Jr. Gets Flame Broiled In Grease Fire

The first units arrived within three minutes of the call and extinguished the flames.

BUENA PARK, CA —It isn't every day a fast food restaurant catches fire, and Orange County Fire Authority quickly extinguished the blaze Friday morning.

The fire was reported about 2 a.m. in the 8300 block of La Palma Avenue, according to an Orange County Fire Authority spokesperson.

"The fire was found in the hood and duct system of the kitchen," Capt. Than Nguyen reported over Twitter.

The first units arrived within three minutes of the call and extinguished the flames.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation. It is not yet known if this location reopened for breakfast service.
