Orange County Rescue Mission Calls For Hygiene Product Donations
Donors are asked to give items like soap bars, shampoo bottles, tubes of toothpaste toilet paper rolls and more.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA — The Orange County Rescue Mission, which donates roughly 1,500 personal hygiene items each month, is calling on the public to help it restock its supplies.
In a news release this week, the mission reached out to the community to ask for donations of items to be given to children and adults living in its transitional housing facility.
Items will be donated to residents, including men, women, children and veterans, living at its Village of Hope and Tustin Veterans Outpost facilities.

The mission is in need of:
- Soap bars
- Shampoo bottles
- Underwear for kids (all sizes)
- Underwear for women (all sizes)
- Toothpaste tubes
- Shaving cream
- A variety of feminine hygiene products
- Laundry detergent
- Toilet paper rolls
Donations can be made between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday at Village of Hope, located at 1 Hope Drive in Tustin.

Donors can also order items online and have them delivered to Village of Hope.
“The health and wellness of the individuals and families living at our facilities has always been extremely important to us,” Orange County Rescue Mission President Jim Palmer said in a statement. “We are urgently asking for donations of these items, so we are able to provide basic hygiene needs to these homeless individuals, as we are going through approximately 1,500 hygiene items per month to ensure proper safety and health for all of our residents.”
