Pedestrian​​ Struck By 'Several Vehicles' In Hit-And-Run

Police are investigating the hit-and-run on the westbound side of First Street at Flower Street.

SANTA ANA (CNS) — A man was critically injured Monday when he was struck by "several vehicles" on a Santa Ana street, authorities said.

It happened just before 1:30 a.m. on the westbound side of First Street at Flower Street, according to Santa Ana police Lt. Andrew Alvarez.

Orange County Fire Authority paramedics took the man to a hospital, Alvarez said.

The westbound side of First Street was shut down between Flower and Main streets for the crash investigation, which will include checking surveillance video to identify the vehicles that struck the man, he said.
