Score 71-Cent Breakfast This Week At NORMS Restaurants In O.C.
The one-day-only, throwback price marks the legendary diner chain's 71st anniversary.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — To celebrate its 71st anniversary, Southland diner NORMS is offering a 71-cent breakfast deal Wednesday at all locales, including the Orange County restaurants.
For one day only — Oct. 28 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. — patrons can order the special (two eggs, two bacon or sausage and two from-scratch hotcakes) for either on-site dining or to-go.
Restrictions include: limit one per guest for dine-in; limit two per guest for to-go/pick up orders; and no substitutions.

Known for its hearty breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, classic dinners and familiar "Googie" sign, the first NORMS opened in 1949 on La Cienega Boulevard in the Hollywood area, making it one of the first 24/7 restaurants in Southern California. There now are roughly 20 locations across Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.
