Toddler Fatally Struck In Church Parking Lot Remembered By All

"Our church body stands with them in their grief," Pastor Lance of Calvary LaHabra said.

LA HABRA, CA — On the last Sunday in April, a 2-year-old child was struck by an SUV in a church parking lot. About an hour after the tragic collision, the toddler succumbed to his injuries and died at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, according to the Orange County Coroner's office.

Little Nathan LaHood, is survived by his parents Matt and Christine LaHood, his siblings, grandparents Manny and Ida Quedding, and numerous other family members. He is remembered by all, as the church community processes the grief of his loss. A fundraiser established by the church is hoping to aid the family in this time of grief.

"Our church body stands with them in their grief," Pastor Lance of Calvary LaHabra said. "We are praying for the families and looking into God's Word for guidance and comfort."

The church has received numerous calls on behalf of the Quedding and LaHood families, they said in a statement released on Facebook.
