Woman's Body Found In Church Parking Lot: Fullerton Police

Fullerton police said the death is being treated as suspicious at this point.

FULLERTON, CA— Authorities are investigating the discovery Sunday of the body of an elderly woman found in the parking lot of a Fullerton church, according a Fullerton police spokesman.

The unidentified body was discovered in the church parking lot, at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Gilbert Street shortly after 2 p.m., said Fullerton police Sgt. Eric Bridges.

Police are treating the death as suspicious at this point, Bridges said. The woman was not identified. Her name will be withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The cause of death will be determined by an autopsy, Bridges said.
