15-Year-Old Mountain Biker Injured In Pacific Palisades
LAFD helicopters airlifted a biker from Rustic Canyon Park after receiving a 911 call.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A 15-year old was rescued from the Sullivan Fire Road after suffering an injury while mountain-biking Monday night. The 911 call came in at 7:38 p.m., and firefighters responded to an area in Rustic Canyon Park near Camp Josepho.
Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department said the boy suffered "traumatic injuries" that were not life threatening. LAFD Helicopters found the boy and hoisted him into the air around 8:12 p.m.
The boy was taken to the hospital for treatment. Other details weren't immediately available.
