A Happy Ending to a Sad Tail

A Beagle named Happy was discovered wandering around Pacific Palisades on Friday. Luckily, he'd simply escaped from his back yard while his neighbors were on vacation.

A happy ending to a potentially sad tail.

On Friday, Sept. 13, a resident in the Highland area of Pacific Palisades saw a Beagle wander on to her property. She took it to the vet and discovered that he had a chip but there was no contact information for the owner.

However, the dog did have a collar and the vet believed that it might have come from a breeder and that it definitely had a home. After driving around Saturday night in search of the dog’s owner, somebody eventually came forward.
