'Disoriented' Hiker Hoisted To Safety In Pacific Palisades
The man was not taken to a hospital.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — A man was rescued by the Los Angeles Fire Department after becoming lost on a hike Saturday evening. According to Margaret Stewart of LAFD, the man was hiking in the area of Los Liones Trailhead when he became "lost and disoriented" around 5:59 p.m. Saturday night.
LAFD conducted a hoist operation to airlift the hiker back to his car. According to Stewart, the man was not injured.
No other details on the hiker or what led to the distress call were immediately availalble.
