There will be an Earth Day fundraiser and tomato plant give-away on Sunday, April 22.
The event is from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Village Green. Since the park is run by volunteers and receives no city money, donations are needed to keep up with maintenance expenses.
For every donation, guests will receive an eco-friendly, reusable shopping bag. And everyone who stops by will be able to pick up a free tomato plant … while supplies last.
