Fourth Of July Fireworks Return To Pacific Palisades This Summer

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Fourth of July fireworks will return to Pacific Palisades next summer after a year off due to the coronavirus pandemic. Festival organizers announced "The Sparkle Returns," an Independence Day celebration featuring a parade, flyover and fireworks show.
The show will begin at 2 p.m. with a July 4th Parade starting at Via de la Paz, proceeding down Sunset Boulevard to Toyopa Drive. Next, there will be a community-wide flyover featuring fighter planes from World War II, with the celebration culminating in a fireworks show at Palisades Charter High School.
Gates for the firework show will open at 8 p.m., with the show starting at 9 p.m. Advance tickets will be required for entry, and will be available here after June 15.

Want to take part in the festivities? Join the patriotic home decorating contest by decking your home out in red, white and blue. Judging will take place on the afternoon of July 3rd, and submissions can be uploaded here.
Tradition will also return with the "Kids on Bikes" contest, which will give a $50 gift card to The Yogurt Shoppe to three winners with the best decorated bikes. More information about the contest is available here.
