How To Renew Your Passport At Pacific Palisades Post Office

Planning on traveling abroad this summer? If your passport is out of date, you can renew it at the passport acceptance fair.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Planning to travel outside of the country this summer? If your passport expired during the pandemic and you need to renew it, the Pacific Palisades Post Office will hold two passport acceptance fairs to help people apply in person.

The acceptance fairs will take place on July 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and July 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Applicants must bring a birth certificate or naturalization, along with photos and a California Driver's License or ID card.

Adult passport books cost $110 + a $35 acceptance fee, while child passport books cost $80 + the fee. $30 Passport cards valid for entering the U.S. from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda by land or sea are also available.

The Pacific Palisades Post Office is located at 15243 La Cruz Drive.

"As places open up and more people begin to think about travel, the State Department is processing an unprecedented number of passport applications and renewals." Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) said. "If you plan to travel abroad, please make sure to check your passport to ensure it is up to date and won’t expire within 6 months of your trip."
