LAX Flights Cancelled, Delayed As Midwest Storms Cripple Travel

Nationwide, thousands of flight shave been delayed or canceled by snow in the midwest, and it's impacting travel at LAX.

LOS ANGELES, CA —Travelers heading out of LAX should prepare for delays thanks to blizzard conditions plaguing the midwest, authorities warned Tuesday.

The freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall are affecting travel nationwide, triggering delays far and wide. By Tuesday morning, there were 24 flight cancellations into or out of LAX, according to the FlightAware. That number will continue to climb as the weather conditions caused by the polar vortex plague much of the nation. Dozens of other LAX flights were delayed.
