PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Firefighters airlifted a man to a hospital Saturday after he was injured while riding his mountain bike in Pacific Palisades.

The accident was reported at 1:04 p.m. off 4000 Sullivan Fire Road and Mulholland Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Nicholas Prange.

Ground crews hiked into the remote area to recover the mountain bike left behind, Prange said.
