Outdoor Ice Skating Rink Coming to Santa Monica

Starting Friday, the corner of 5th Street and Arizona Avenue in Downtown Santa Monica will feature an outdoor ice skating rink for the holidays through Jan. 20.

A community grand opening will be held Nov. 7 and hosted by U.S. and World Pairs Skating Champion Randy Gardner.

General admission to the 8,000-square-foot rink, called ICE at Santa Monica, is $12 per person. On Nov. 7, admission to ICE will be free from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. Donations of unwrapped toys will be accepted for Santa Monica PAL Best Gift Ever.

Hours of Operation
Monday-Thursday: 2 p.m.-10 p.m.
Friday: 2 p.m.-Midnight
Saturday: 10 a.m.-Midnight
Sunday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m. 

Extended holiday hours will be announced later in the season.
