Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Burglar Removes Window to Steal Statue
In this week's crime roundup, a burglar removes the glass from a window to steal a statue out of a Palisades home.

The following crimes were reported between May 20 and May 26. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Grand Theft Auto
Via de Las Olas at Swarthmore Ave.
- When: May 24 between 2-3 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect took the victim's vehicle from the street.
Burglary
600 block of Palmera Ave.

- When: May 25 between 8:40-10:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect entered the victim's home and took jewelry and a handbag.
1400 block of Via Cresta
- When: May 21 at 8 a.m. and May 23 at 2:30 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect removed the glass from a window to enter the victim's home and took a statue.
16800 block of Sunset Blvd.

- When: May 21 between 12:15-2:30 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect entered the victim's home and took jewelry and money.
Petty Theft
400 block of Arbramar Ave.
- When: May 15 between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect entered the victim's open garage and took an electric scooter.
