Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Copper Wire Theft
Apparently the market for copper wire hasn't died down. In this latest incident, the suspect stole the wire from a construction site on Bestor Boulevard.

The suspect entered victim's unlocked vehicle and took a laptop computer and money.

600 Swarthmore Ave. between Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 8:30 a.m. The suspect entered victim's unlocked vehicle and took money and a GPS.

1000 Enbury St. on Aug. 26 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The suspect entered victim's unlocked vehicle and took a GPS, dog bed and cell phone charger.

The suspect entered victim's two unlocked vehicles and took money.

The suspect smashed a window on victim's vehicle and took a purse and books.

A 46-year-old male was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. Â

20 Bali Ln. on Aug. 24 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Â
The suspect entered victim's home through an unlocked door and took an iPad, Mac Book and camera.

14900 Whitfield Ave. between Aug. 26 at 3:30 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 6:50 a.m.  The suspect pried open a window to enter a home under construction and took tools.

15300 Bestor Blvd. between Aug. 26 at 3:30 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 7 a.m.
The suspect entered construction site and took copper wires.

100 Ocean Way. Aug. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
The suspects (#1 male Hispanic, black hair, 5'8" 130 lbs, #2 male Hispanic, black hair, 5'5", #3 and #4 male Hispanic NFD, driving a gray pickup truck) entered construction site and took plywood. A witness took photos of the suspect.

16300 Pacific Coast Hwy. Between Aug. 18 at 12 p.m. and Aug. 25 at 12 p.m. The suspect took a surfboard and kayak from victim's driveway.

The suspect took a lawn sign (requesting St Matthew's to obey their conditions of use permit) from victim's front lawn.

The suspect (male black, black hair, 5'8" 190 lbs, 30 years) took a plywood board from victim's property.

The suspect took victim's phone from a locker.

The suspect took victim's generator from a sidewalk.

The suspect threw a bottle at victim's home causing a window to break.

The suspect (male white) made a telephone threat to rape and kill a victim.
