Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Money Taken From Rec Center Safe
In this week's crime roundup, police say a suspect took cash from a safe at a local recreation center.

The following crimes were reported between Jan. 8-Jan. 14. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle
14600 block of Bestor Blvd.
- When: Between Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m. and Jan. 11 at 9:30 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and took money, jackets and parts for a bass guitar.
1200 block of Chautauqua Blvd.

- When: Jan. 12 at 3:35 a.m.
- What happened: The suspect opened the victim's unlocked vehicle but fled when the vehicle alarm was activated.
Burglary
200 block of Surfview Dr.
- When: Jan. 12 between 9:30 a.m. and 11 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect pried open a door to the victim's home and took jewelry.
16500 block of Chattanooga Pl.

- When: Jan. 12 between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed a sliding glass door on the victim's home and took jewelry and autographed baseballs.
Grand Theft
16100 block of Sunset Blvd.
- When: Between Jan. 5 at 12 p.m. and Jan. 6 at 12 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect entered the condo garage and took the victim's bicycle.
Petty Theft
600 block of Latimer Rd.
- When: Between Dec. 16 at 9 a.m. and Dec. 30 at 1:35 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect took cash from a safe at the recreation center.
700 block of Amalfi Dr.
- When: Jan. 13 between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect took the victim's iPhone from the victim's home. Police say the suspect could be one of the workers at the location.
Vandalism
16000 block of Aiglon St.
- When: Dec. 23 at 12:30 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect rolled over the victim's tricycle causing damage.
1000 block of Will Rogers State Park Rd.
- When: Jan. 14 between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m.
- What happened: The suspect smashed the rear window of the victim's vehicle.
