Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Shots Fired on Sunset

In this week's crime round-up, shots are fired in the 14200-block of Sunset Boulevard.

The following crimes were reported between Feb. 19-Feb. 26. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Grand Theft

300 West Channel Rd.

  • When: Feb. 23 between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took victim's bicycle from the victim's front porch.

Vandalism

300 Mesa Rd.

  • When: Between Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 23 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect bent the antenna on the victim's vehicle.

300 Mesa Rd.

  • When: Between Feb. 1 at 8 a.m. and Feb. 7 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect threw a fire extinguisher at the victim's vehicle smashing a window.

1300 Las Pulgas Rd.

  • When: Between Feb. 24 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 25 at 1 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect fired paintballs at the victim's vehicle and house causing damage.

DUI

100 West Channel Rd.

  • When: Feb. 25 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: A 25-year-old man was arrested for DUI while officers were responding to a disturbance call.

Shooting Within City Limits

14200 Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Feb. 26 at 2 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect shot two rounds from a handgun (possibly a .45 cal) in front of the location. Responding officers recovered one shell casing.
