Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Suspect Allegedly Tampers With Motion Detectors

In this week's crime roundup, after trespassing, a suspect unscrews light bulbs on motion detectors.

The following crimes were reported between Jan. 1-Jan. 7. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

1100 block of Corsica Dr.

  • When: Jan. 6 between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took gardening equipment from the rear of the victim's vehicle.

Petty Theft

16100 block of Alcima Ave.

  • When: Between Jan. 3 at 12 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 7 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's garage and took a bicycle.

Vandalism

200 block of Tranquillo Rd.

  • When: Between Jan. 4 at 4 p.m. and Jan. 5 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect possibly used a "BB" gun to damage windows at the location.

Other Crimes

1000 block of Napoli Dr.

  • When: Between Dec. 28, 2011 at 6:30 a.m. and Dec. 31, 2011 at 8:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect trespassed on the victim's property and unscrewed light bulbs on motion detectors.
