The teams played at Santa Monica High School Saturday.

The boys varsity lacrosse team is off to quite a start. Pali beat both Santa Monica High School and Chaminade in two scrimmage matches Saturday at Santa Monica.

Head Boys Varsity Coach Scott Hylen told Patch that Pali beat Chaminade 13-3 and beat Samohi 9-4. Hylen said Nick Jaffe, who won the tournament MVP award, Ryan Angelich and Spencer Sawai all had stand out plays.

"We have an extremely talented team playing against a very challenging schedule," said Hylen. "Home games are Friday nights ... come out and support your team!"
