See the winners of the school's first annual Halloween short film competition.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Selected films from Palisades Charter High School's 'Halloween Freak Fest' competition will be screened this Friday at 7 p.m. via YouTube Live. The submission deadline was originally October 12, but later extended to October 18.

Films will be judged based on creative inclusion of contest stipulations, technical quality of production, storytelling, locations, casting, design and acting. All chosen videos must be related to Halloween, although the exact theme is "open to creative interpretation."

Only Pali High students were eligible to submit a visual, and prizes will be mailed to winning students' home address. The selected films will be shown here.
