Pali High Launches Short Film Competition 'Halloween Freak Fest'

The theme is open to "creative interpretation," and winning films will be screened on October 23.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Palisades Charter High School is getting in the Halloween spirit with the first ever "Halloween Freak Fest," a short-film competition. Students can submit films running five minutes or less, revolving around the Halloween theme that is "open to creative interpretation."

Entries may be submitted by a single student, or a group of any size. Only Palisades Charter High School students are eligible to participate in the film crew, but anyone is allowed to be an actor.

The submission deadline is October 12, and films must be submitted by Google Drive and contain a YouTube link. Winning films will be screened on October 23 at 7 p.m., with prizes to be announced during the event.
