Palisades Martial Arts Instructor Receives Award

Local Pacific Palisades Martial Arts instructor, Gerry Blanck, was presented with the Martial Arts Museum Honor Awards on Sept. 7 at the Holiday Inn in Burbank. 

The award is given to those that have had and continue to make an impact on martial arts. 

Blanck, a seventh degree Black Belt in Yoshukai Karate and former World Champion kickboxer, has been teaching Karate in the Palisades for 31 years and as part of his award ceremony, his name and photo are now posted at the entrance of the Martial Arts History Museum and has been included in the Museum 2013 Honor Book.
