Plane Crash Victims Could Be Construction CEO, Son

The plane veered into a hangar Sunday evening.

The identity of those aboard a twin-engine Cessna Citation jet aircraft that veered off a runway and crashed into a hangar during landing at Santa Monica Airport on Sunday has not been officially released; however, a Southern California construction company has posted on its website that it believes its CEO and his son were on the plane.

Morley Builders' Vice President Charles Muttillo issued a statement Monday saying, "While we do not have specific facts, we believe that our President and CEO, Mark Benjamin, and his son, Luke Benjamin, a Senior Project Engineer with us were on board."

Muttillo said the company will update its site as it learns more.

Morley Builders has an office on Ocean Park Boulevard in Santa Monica.
