UPDATE: Power Restored in Iliff Street Area
About 950 homes have their power back following an outage Wednesday morning.

UPDATE 3:24 p.m.: As of 3:07 p.m., LADWP says power to all 950 customers has been restored. Residents told Pali Patch that power came back as early as 2:42 p.m.

UPDATE 11:39 a.m.: LADWP officials say the outage is due to a broken cross arm. Crews could not determine whether the damage was due to the rain.

UPDATE 11:30 a.m.: According to the LADWP, about 950 customers are affected by the outage. Crews are doing repairs and expect that power will be up-and-running in a few hours.

Power went out in the area around the 900-block of Iliff Street in Pacific Palisades Wednesday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, electricity went out in the area just before 10 a.m. Residents told Pali Patch they noticed losing power at about 10:15 a.m.
As of 10:40 a.m., LADWP officials told Pali Patch crews were on the way and would be investigating the cause. LADWP says crews will be working to "restore power as quickly as possible."
No word on whether the rain played a role in the outage.
