Power Outage In Pacific Palisades Knocks At Least 300 Offline
The department said the outage should take about 12-24 hours to resolve, due to the high winds across Los Angeles.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — At least 300 Palisades residents woke up without power Wednesday morning, due to the gusty winds and lingering red flag conditions. LADWP confirmed the outage on their website, saying 324 customers had been affected by the outage.
The department said the outage should take about 12-24 hours to resolve, meaning power may not return until Wednesday evening or later. Outages have also been reported in Brentwood, Marina Del Rey and more locations.
A red flag warning for the Palisades expired Tuesday night, but a high wind advisory remains in place through 6 p.m.

"Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph," the NWS said. "Gusty winds and reduced visibility from blowing dust will make driving difficult. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result."
