Resilient Palisades To Host Composting Workshop
Learn how to start your very own compost at home, or easy ways to keep organic material from ending up in a landfill.
PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Want to learn more about composting, or looking for a ways to become more environmentally conscious around the house? Resilient Palisades will host a composting workshop on St. Patrick's Day, for a fittingly-scheduled informational session that will help you go green even after the holiday is over.
The club will be joined by Kenny Derieg, Westside Regional Hub Manager for LA Compost. Derieg will talk about the importance of composting, and give tips on how residents can get started with their own compost around the house.
The workshop will also touch on programs being offered by LA Compost, such as their weekly contact-free drop offs for people who want to get involved.
