
The ultimate escape from life in Los Angeles might be found in the trees of Pacific Palisades. The Los Angeles Times reports a 1974 Modernist home by architect Ray Kappe that has "the feel of a tree house" is for sale with an asking price of $4.25 million.
The house is surrounded by a wooded lot in Rustic Canyon and comes with a fireplace, library and a heated swimming pool.
