Viewfinder: Green of leaf and green of sod, green of ivy on the wall

Palisadian and 12-year-old Whitney Yost looks for Irish luck in these green plants this St. Patrick's Day.

Pali Patch contributing photographer, Whitney Yost (age 12) was hoping to have the luck of the Irish as she set out to find some interesting subjects to photograph in honor of St. Patrick's Day.  No shamrocks or leprechauns were found, but she did find some vibrant green plants in the neighborhood to honor the day.  The heavy rains earlier this year, together with our Southern California sunshine, produced a colorful rainbow as seen from the Marquez Knolls neighborhood.  Perhaps this will lead to a pot of gold.
