Vittorio's Ristorante Closed Until Jan 12 Due To Coronavirus

The Italian restaurant will close for deep cleaning after an employee tested positive for the virus.

PACIFIC PALISADES, CA — Italian restaurant Vittorio Ristorante will close until January 12 after an employee tested positive for coronavirus. Co-owner Vanessa Pellegrini announced the temporary closure via a Facebook post on January 1.

“We had an employee test positive this morning. Out of an abundance of caution for our customers and staff, we are closing until January 12, per CDC (Centers for Disease Control),” Pellegrini said in an email to Circling the News. “We will be doing a deep cleaning of the restaurant and all employees must provide two negative tests prior to coming back to work.”

Vittorio's, which has been family owned and operated since opening in 1984, had been offering takeout and delivery to the Palisades, Santa Monica Mountains, Sunset Mesa and neighboring communities. In December, Vittorio's held a Holiday Toy Drive to bring some joy to 200 foster kids.
