Landslide Road Repairs Return To Palos Verdes Drive South

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Expect some potential traffic delays in Rancho Palos Verdes beginning Monday while crews work on repairing the landslide area on Palos Verdes Drive South.

The construction will continue through the week along the roadway surface between Peppertree Drive and west of Schooner Drive on PVDS, city officials said.

"The work consists of lowering the road in some areas, raising the road in some areas, and repairing the surface to smooth it as needed," officials said.

One lane traffic is anticipated, with traffic control personnel in place to help keep the work zone safe.

Drivers can expect delays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Work is expected to be completed by Friday.

"All who must use this section of roadway next week are encouraged to slow down and drive cautiously through the work zone," officials said.
