Landslide Road Work Underway In Rancho Palos Verdes

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Landslide road work is underway Tuesday in Rancho Palos Verdes along Palos Verdes Drive South, city officials announced.

The construction will continue through the week to repair the roadway surface between Peppertree Drive and Narcissa Drive along Palos Verdes Drive South.

"The surface of the road is being lowered in some areas and raised in other areas to help smooth the vertical transitions throughout the landslide," according to city officials.

The roadway will be limited to one lane in each direction, and traffic control personnel will be in place as part of the work zone setup.

Drivers should expect delays in the area next week between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

"Drivers should proceed cautiously through the work zone and carefully follow work zone signs and instructions," city officials said.
