Lecture Series on Chronic Disease Reversal Starts March 8 at LA BioMed
The series will provide tips on reversing heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer's, obesity and more.
The public is invited a series of free lectures, beginning at 6 p.m. on March 8, on Chronic Disease Reversal at LA BioMed, 1124 West Carson St., Torrance, CA 90502.
LA BioMed, the host of the series, is one of the nation's largest non-profit independent biomedical research institutes. While it has approximately 100 principal researchers conducting studies into improved treatments and therapies for cancer, inherited diseases, and more, the organization also educates young scientists and provides community services.
As part of its effort to improve community health, the organization's current lecture series will feature Kirk Hamilton, a practicing physician’s assistant of more than 30 years in nutrition, prevention, integrative and lifestyle medicine. He has a passion for the prevention and reversal of chronic diseases through lifestyle. He also is the author of “Staying Healthy in the Fast Lane” and host of podcast show “Staying Healthy Today,” which interviews key researchers and physicians from all over the world.
