Marathon Closures In Palos Verdes Estates

Motorists in the Palos Verdes Estates area will run into closures on Saturday to accommodate the Palos Verdes 5K and Half Marathon.

Street closures along the route will be closed from 7 to 11 a.m.

The race will enter the city on Palos Verdes Drive West from the south, head east on Paseo Lunado, south on Via Pacheco, west on Paseo Del Mar, then east on Paseo Lunado, north on Via Anacapa, west on Paseo Lunado then north on Paseo Del Mar through the 1300 block, police said.

Police asked that people avoid the area. Residents should follow instructions from officers at traffic control points.
