Palos Verdes Bowl To Close After 61 Years
Palos Verdes Bowl will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday for its last day open.
PALOS VERDES, CA — Palos Verdes Bowl will close Friday after 61 years in Torrance.
The bowling alley is closing to make way for a new shopping center, Daily Breeze reported.
Palos Verdes Bowl provides "top-notch bowling centers, quality activities, and events along with exceptional service and personal attention to our guests," the bowling alley website said.

Palos Verdes Bowl opened in 1958. It will be open until midnight tonight, and from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday for its last day.
"This is a classic bowling alley and it’s a shame to see it go," a patron of the bowling alley told The Daily Breeze. "It’s going to be weird to go down Crenshaw and not see the bowling alley there."
