What our readers are saying: "This seafood market is a hidden gem! Has the best quality seafood beautifully displayed. When the pandemic hit, they really stepped up and brought on a variety of other products as well like chicken beef more canned goods and even toilet paper in a time that local residences really needed it. It was the perfect place to go to a valid the big crowded super markets. Their store is always so clean and organized. The family-owned market has friendly staff too! They are always easy to talk to and very helpful."

What our readers are saying: "When our family relocated to Southern California in June we did not know anyone. Our daily walks led us to the Ranch Market where the customer service was amazing and the owners Nurces and Nuna and their family welcomed us like good friends."

"It is a great family-owned and run business. They make you feel like you are a close friend and they are always very accommodating to our special requests. Their food is delicious and reasonable."

"My reason for nominating the Ranch Market is that they have performed an outstanding service to our community since March, during this coronavirus time. They have been able to supply all the basic needs such as milk and toilet tissue and will load your purchased groceries in the car - order over the phone and contactless. The staff and owners Nerses and Noona go above and beyond to help everyone."

Lunada Bay Market, 2201 Palos Verdes Dr W, Palos Verdes Estates

What our readers are saying: "This small neighborhood market worked like crazy to serve our neighborhood during the first few months of the pandemic. They found creative ways to stock their shelves with items which the bigger stores were running out of. They found paper towels, canned goods, cleaning supplies, meats and cheeses, fresh produce... They are very small and their small staff worked tirelessly keeping our pantries stocked, and keeping our shopping experience clean and safe. I think the owner would work a 12 hour day, and spend all night researching how to creatively restock the shelves with items which their regular vendors were out of. They truly went above and beyond for our neighborhood!"
