Palos Verdes Zip Code Among 100 Most Expensive In U.S.
Los Angeles County has the highest number of pricey zips of any county nationwide, according to new data from PropertyShark.
PALOS VERDES, CA – It's a known fact that California real estate is expensive. PropertyShark released a list Monday of the 100 priciest zip codes in the U.S., and a whopping 91 entries are in the Golden State — up from 82 last year.
Los Angeles County has the highest number of pricey zips of any county nationwide, with 21 of its zip codes making an appearance on the list.

The 90274 zip code in the Palos Verdes Peninsula ranked 73rd most expensive in the nation, according to PropertyShark. It's one of the three zip codes within the South Bay that made the list, with a median home sale price of $1,604,000. Hermosa Beach's 90254 zip code ranked 66nd, with a median home sale price of 1,675,000. The 90266 zip code in Manhattan Beach ranked 32nd with a median sale price of $2.2 million.

PropertyShark's Methodology: To determine which were the most expensive ZIP codes in the U.S., PropertyShark looked at all residential transactions closed between January 1, 2019 and November 5, 2019 taking into account condo, co-ops, single- and two-family homes. All package deals were excluded.
