A Peninsula Christmas Favorite is back!
The Neighborhood Church will present it's 64th Annual Seaside Christmas Pageant on December 10, 2017. Fun for the whole family!
A Southbay tradition, the Neighborhood Church located at 415 Paseo Del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates will present its annual Christmas Pageant for the community on Sunday, December 10th with two identical performances at 5:30 pm and 7:30pm. The Pageant is among the oldest traditional events on the Peninsula dating back to 1953.
The Pageant begins in the beautiful sanctuary seated above the ocean cliffs where the audience will have a brief introduction of the Christmas story they are about to witness and will begin the guided walk throughout the ocean bluff church grounds to view seven scenes depicting the First Christmas. Children and adults are sure to enjoy this Holiday tradition which includes small choral groups and soloists performing behind the scenes as well as a children’s highlight of live animals in the shepherd scene. Attendees are encourage to arrive early by 5:15 or 7:15 to enjoy the pre-pageant music offered by the church bell choir in the Sanctuary.
This event is a free gift to the community appropriate for the entire family, and all are welcome to join!
