Police Activity: Residents Urged To Avoid Area In Palos Verdes

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA — Residents were urged to avoid an area in Palos Verdes Estates Thursday night due to police activity, which was later ended, officials said.

Police activity was reported in the area of Via Del Puente, Via Almar and the 300 block of Palos Verdes Drive West — near Palos Verdes Estates City Hall.

The investigation is ongoing. No immediate details were released. It's unclear what prompted the department's alert.
