PV Transit Offering Free Rides On Election Day In Palos Verdes

Palos Verdes Peninsula residents can ride for free on PV Transit on Election Day, Nov. 3.

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — It's time to get to the polls and Palos Verdes Peninsula residents can travel for free on PV Transit to vote on Election Day, Nov. 3.

The free dial-a-ride service from Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority will take locals to voting sites in the area.

It's available for seniors age 62 and older, and anyone with disabilities living in Rolling Hills Estates, Palos Verdes Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes, city officials said.

Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for this on-demand, door-to-door service.

Advanced one-way and roundtrip reservations can be made from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. by calling 310-544-3710.

Same-day reservations can also be made starting at 6 a.m. on November 3. The last pick-up at polling locations will be at 9 p.m.
