Rancho Palos Verdes Residents Can Get Unfilled Sandbags And Sand
Unfilled sandbags and sand are available for Rancho Palos Verdes residents as rainy weather hits the Southland.
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Rain is heading to the Southland and if you need sandbags to protect your property against runoff during the rainy season, then the City of Rancho Palos Verdes provides empty sandbags and sand for residents to fill and make as needed.
Unfilled sandbags are located at the City Hall info desk and are available during regular business hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday.
City Hall remains closed to the public to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you plan to pickup sandbags, the city asks that you stay inside your car when you arrive and call 310-544-5200 for instructions.

Sandbags are limited to 10 sandbags per household with valid ID or proof of residency.
Fill sand is located at City Hall in a designated area for residents to use.

"Please bring your shovels and tools as they are not provided," city officials said. "Please wear a face covering and maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet from others not in your household."
