RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — Crews are expected to continue completing work Friday on California Water Service’s Palos Verdes Peninsula Water Reliability Project.

Cal Water crews will be working on Palos Verdes Drive North and Crenshaw Boulevard. They plan to pave small areas of Palos Verdes Drive North, between Dapplegray Elementary School and Palos Verdes Drive East, and along Crenshaw Boulevard, between Silver Spur Road and Palos Verdes Drive North.

The work will happen from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. for about one day.

"There will be temporary, partial lane closures during work hours, but vehicles will be able to travel in each direction at all times. Please expect delays while paving is underway and use alternate routes, where possible," officials said in a news release.

Although there is an estimated completion date, the project could take longer.

"Over the next few weeks, residents may see crews completing minor restoration activities to ensure affected areas are returned to the same or better condition," officials said. "As a reminder, all construction timing is estimated and could change based on several factors, including unforeseeable field circumstances."

The project is part of ongoing work to the Peninsula's water infrastructure. Anyone with questions can contact PVPWaterProject@calwater.com.
