Search Underway After Vehicle Plunges Over Cliff In PVE
A vehicle plunged over the cliff along Paseo del Mar in Palos Verdes Estates, but no victims have been found.
PALOS VERDES ESTATES, CA — A vehicle plunged over a cliff near Paseo del Mar in Palos Verdes Estates, but a rescue effort yielded no crash victims Friday.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to a report of wreckage discovered at the bottom of the cliffside Friday afternoon, but they arrived to find no sign of the driver or passengers. It wasn't immediately clear how long the vehicle had been there or if anyone was injured.
The area features steep cliffs above a rocky shoreline.
