Stolen Vehicle Suspect In Custody, Search Ends In Palos Verdes

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — A suspect who was driving a stolen vehicle and fled during a short pursuit was in custody following a search Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The search was underway near the area of Hawthorne Boulevard and Via Rivera, near Palos Verdes Nature Preserve, sheriff's officials said. The search ended shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Helicopters were circling the area following the pursuit and search.

The suspect's name and additional information were not immediately available.
