Target Set To Open At Peninsula Shopping Center In Rolling Hills

PALOS VERDES, CA — Target is going to open in the Peninsula Shopping Center soon, it was announced Monday.

Officials from the retailer just signed a lease for approximately 37,000 sq. ft. in Rolling Hills Estates — the former home of Orchard Supply Hardware, the Peninsula Shopping Center press release said.

"We’re beyond thrilled that Target has chosen to open at Peninsula Shopping Center," Vestar Vice President Jeff Axtell said. "The addition of Target solidifies our commitment to the community by providing the very best in retail, quick dining and service destinations."

Target will join other recent openings at the center, including Old Navy (set to open November 2019), It’s Boba Time, Club Pilates, MOD Pizza, Chipotle and San Pedro Fish Market Grille.

"By adding national retailers like Target and Old Navy, Vestar has filled a significant shopping void in the Palos Verdes Peninsula," Rolling Hills Estates Mayor Judy Mitchell said. "We look forward to our continued partnership to ensure the needs of the community are met."

The exact opening date will be announced at a later time.
