Update: New Traffic Signal Installed In Rancho Palos Verdes

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA — A new traffic signal was installed Thursday at Hawthorne Boulevard and Via Rivera, Rancho Palos Verdes city officials announced.

City officials earlier Thursday announced some difficulties with electrical problems at the area but the signal is now live and "signal ahead' is now pained on both the north and southbound lanes of Hawthorne Boulevard to warn drivers about the approaching signal.

Signs were also installed along Hawthorne Boulevard in both directions, city officials said.

"All vehicles are to continue to obey all traffic laws at this site," according to the city.
