UCLA Blood Drive Heading To Palos Verdes Peninsula

ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA — Palos Verdes Peninsula locals can sign up for an upcoming UCLA Blood Drive hosted by the city of Rolling Hills Estates.

The blood drive is scheduled for March 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ernie Howlett Park, 25851 Hawthorne Blvd., Rolling Hills Estates. UCLA will provide COVID-19 Antibody testing with select blood donations.

Blood donations are considered essential during the pandemic. And the need for blood and platelets is constant, according to the American Red Cross.

People are encouraged to make an appointment and social distance. To register to donate visit www.ucedonor.com, click on 'blood drives' and enter CRHE in the zip code box. The UCLA bloodmobile will be located near the tennis courts.
