Video: Small Dog Barely Escapes Nasty Coyote In Palos Verdes

RANCHO PALO VERDES, CA — The video of a mean coyote going after a tiny dog in the area could have been a lot more disturbing than it is — the dog's sounds are downright unnerving.

But he was a feisty little guy as the coyote went into attack mode, as shown on the Neighbors app, and the pooch in Palos Verdes got away by a hair.

Apparently, this wasn't the only neighborhood dog that got the bejeesuz scared out of it by a coyote.

"Coyote chasing terrier right outside house," the person who posted the video wrote. "Fortunately it was right near small dog door allowing terrier to escape. Keep animals [inside at] night (and lock dog, or cat door.) This is the second incident in a week in this neighborhood."
