3 Oakland Homicide Victims Identified
Two of the victims were Oakland residents, while the third was from Hayward.

OAKLAND, CA — Oakland police today released the names of three people who recently were fatally shot in their city.
A man who was fatally shot while he was riding his motorcycle on 42nd Avenue near the High Street exit off Interstate Highway 880 at about 1 a.m. on April 14 has been identified as Carlos Orozco, 52, of Hayward.
A man who was fatally shot inside Soon's Cocktail Lounge at 3449 Fruitvale Ave. at about 1:12 a.m. on April 15 has been identified as Daemiion Yaphet II, 25, of Oakland.

A man who was fatally shot in the 2700 block of East 10th Street at about 1:23 a.m. on April 15 has been identified as Daniel Cordova of Oakland. Police didn't disclose his age but according to his online obituary he was 25. According to his obituary, Cordova was born in Hayward and graduated from high school in South Dakota. Cordova's obituary said he had a career in security and maintenance and "had a passion for pool, football, poker, bowling and hydroponics."
Oakland police didn't release any information about suspects or motives in any of the three recent homicides.
